This course provides all required foundations for those who wish to achieve their PMP® Certification.  At the end of this preparation course, students gain an understanding about PMP certification and PMI requirements as well as gain an understanding of all the concepts, tools and techniques for undertaking the PMP® exam.  Participants will gain an understanding of the five process areas and ten knowledge areas as outlined in Project Management Institute’s Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide (PMBOK® Guide).  Upon completion, all students will have satisfied the requirement for 35 contact hours of training in order to sit for the exam.

Learning outcomes

 

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding using (PMBOK Guide) to fully understand the project management knowledge areas as defined by   the Project Management Institute (PMI). These include Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communication, Risk, Procurement, and stakeholder.
  • Understand the process of certification, logistics, and be able to enroll for the exam
  • Describe the five Process Groups and ten Knowledge areas as defined by PMI and assess how the multiple processes interrelate with each other.
  • Gain insights through tips and tricks, study hints for exam preparation
  • Ability to take practice exam and get experience in taking PMP mock-up sample.
